We are looking for an experienced engineer to collect, process, and manage speech data for voice products. The candidate will work together with product manager and voice product engineers to define data to be collected, and develop tools for processing and management of data, and support systematic testing of the voice products. Help manage external teams for data related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Drive the data collection, processing, and management tasks for Presto voice products
- Together with other team members to define required speech data for new voice product features
- Develop tools to efficiently collect, process, and manage speech data
- Support the optimization and launch of voice products through systematic testing
- Guide external data teams to complete required tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or computational linguistics
- A minimum 4 years of working experience in the speech field
- Hands-on working experience with speech signal processing
- Strong programming skills in Python, C, or C++
- Good knowledge about speech recognition systems
- Strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Familiar with English dialects and Spanish
- Hands-on experience in using and fine-tuning speech recognition algorithms
- Familiarity with text processing tasks and algorithms
