ConverseNow is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and support the ultimate voice-based conversational AI. We’re looking for strong engineers who are ambitious, proactive, and love scaling and operating large systems, and who feel proud seeing their code and systems run well in production.

The ideal candidate has worked and enjoys working in a fast-paced, demanding start-up environment. There are plenty of opportunities to learn and many opportunities to build and improve a large scale system.  SRE's are expected to take end-end ownership and be proactive and responsive to the system needs.

Desirable Skills Include:

  • Worked on a stack serving millions of users
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Proficient with SQL, Golang and/or Python
  • MLOps
  • Exposure to ASR and NLP is a huge plus

Experience

  • Strong experience working with cloud services GCP preferred
  • Strong experience working with Kubernetes
  • 3-5 years of experience in working with infrastructure as code
  • Comfortable developing, maintaining DevOps pipelines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure infrastructure and product systems are running smoothly, high-availability and up-time
  • Be part of on-call rotation to respond to urgent bugs or production outages (including evenings and weekends)
  • Proactively identify and fix infrastructure bottlenecks
  • Help design and improve better monitoring, reliability, disaster recovery
  • Supporting deployment and operations of Kubernetes / Docker (in a production environment)
  • Develop and support data pipeline and infrastructure
  • Choosing and building tooling for CI / CD
  • As needed to develop, integrate and support features in the core server stack
