About this role

Do you enjoy working on cutting edge machine learning for products that people love to use everyday?  We are looking for a seasoned ASR researcher to join our world-class team consisting of ML veterans from Apple, Google, Microsoft, and others. 

You will have the opportunity to

  • Push the state of the art in ASR to handle challenging inputs (meetings & conversations) from our users
  • Conduct research using large-scale real-world data
  • Shape the future of the company by developing new capabilities

Your background

  • 3+ years of experience working on WFST & DNN based ASR
  • Strong programming skills with working knowledge of C++ & Python
  • Comfort working in a Linux command-line environment
  • Team player with good communication skills (oral and written)
Additional nice-to-haves
  • Industry ASR experience with end-to-end models, personalization, distributed training, etc.
  • Experience with natural language processing or speaker diarization
  • Experience with MapReduce, Spark, or similar frameworks
  • PhD in Computer Science, Speech/Language Processing or Machine Learning
