SUMMARY

The Applied AI team is looking for a candidate to work on a collection of deep learning based speech/audio processing projects, such as self-supervised representation learning, source separation, speech or music enhancement, etc. Interns will work with top researchers on full cycle of research with the goal of pushing state-of-the-art.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with researchers to design and implement novel deep learning algorithms for speech/audio processing.  

  • Extensive literature reading, creative thinking, hands-on development, result analysis and paper writing.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Candidates working towards a Ph.D degree in the field of speech/audio deep learning. 

  • Strong hands-on experience in one or more research areas in speech/audio deep learning, such as self-supervised learning, speech or music enhancement, source separation, etc. 

  • Strong coding capability with deep learning tools, such as Pytorch. 

  • Strong team player, with good written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Tracking record of publications in deep learning top conferences/journals is a big plus. 

ELIGIBILITY 

Must be available to work full-time Monday–Friday for 3 or 6 months starting from September 2022.
